Ribolla Gialla is native to Slovenia and Friuli Italy. We have planted Ribolla Gialla in our Nube Bianco Vienyard at the headwaters of the Russian River in the beautiful high elevation Potter Valley in Mendocino County. This wine was fermented and "sur lie" aged for 5 months in French Burgundy oak barrels. This medium bodied wine with aromas and flavors of Golden Delicious apples and Anjou pears make this a perfect starter wine or a perfect partner for grilled fish, roasted poultry, and soft ripe cheeses.
